House Rules
A few simple things that keep the Oasis peaceful for everyone, including the iguanas.
Check-in & Check-out
Check-in is at 3:00 PM. If you are arriving sooner, let us know and we may be able to work something out. At the very least, you can drop off your things and go play until your beach retreat is ready.
Check-out is at 11:00 AM. We may be able to arrange a later check-out, but please contact us at least 2 days beforehand to request one.
Housekeeping
Casa Oasis is cleaned six days a week. Staff gets Sundays and major holidays off. We arrange days off so that you never have more than one day without service.
Towels and sheets are changed once a week. More (or less) by special request.
Allergies & Sensitivities
There is a cat on the premises (outdoors, unless invited in) and dogs are frequent guests. We do not have carpet or other dander traps, but we cannot guarantee that guests who are allergic to cats and dogs will be symptom-free here.
This is an eco-Oasis. We limit the use of harsh chemicals and pesticides, and use the cleanest, low-odor, biodegradable laundry detergent and natural, eco-friendly cleaning products we can find. If you have allergies or other sensitivities, please make them known before booking so we can see whether we are able to accommodate them.
Ants, Bugs & Other Jungle Denizens
Please do your dishes right away. Our housekeepers will help you with everything else, but not dishes. Dirty dishes attract critters, and with open architecture, pests descend quickly in the tropics. We rely on prevention rather than harsh pesticides.
Keep in mind the never-far tropical sugar ants, plus the armadillos, possums, iguanas, and coatimundi that can make an appearance when tempted.
House Rules & Tips
Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 9 AM.
No events or parties (unless you rent the whole place). This is a peaceful Oasis.
Turn off fans and lights when you are not using them, and keep gates shut at all times.
Park diagonally on the gravel area outside the main gate.
Use only the provided purified water in the teapot, coffee makers, and for brushing your teeth.
Use the clicker to light the stove and oven.
Let the staff know as soon as possible if anything is not working correctly. We want you comfortable, and we can only fix what we know about.
