REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
As soon as we confirm your reservation, we begin turning away other potential renters for your dates. If you cancel your stay and we are unable to find another guest for your dates, we lose income—through no fault of our own. Unfortunately, family emergencies, illness, natural disasters, and flight cancellations happen. Casa Oasis, however, cannot be financially responsible for such events.
But, we do offer more than many rentals do: if we can re- rent any dates you are forced to miss, we will happily return the income we were able to recuperate, minus an administrative fee.
Casa Oasis Policies:
- We can only keep the property on hold for 2-3 days without payment, so please make it quickly once you have payment info.
- For stays of 10 days or less, we need payment in full in order to reserve the Oasis. For longer stays, we require a deposit of 50% or 10 days’ stay, whichever is greater.
- Any balance due needs to be received at least 60 days before the intended arrival date, in order to guarantee a reservation. (Except holidays and HomeAway payments: they need payment in full up front.)
- Should you cancel your stay—for whatever reason—we will happily refund whatever nights we are able to re-rent, minus a US $150 administrative fee.
We recommend you protect yourself with travel insurance, in the even that you cannot fulfill your reservation with us. We book far in advance, turning many people away once we have received your deposit/payment.
Travel insurance is inexpensive and protects much more than merely your lodging payment—it can cover cancelled flights, lost luggage, etc.. These guys are recommended by Lonely Planet: www.worldnomads.com.
